Default Wear purple

The link was also in the Atlanta Journal today, under local county news.

http://myfayettegop.blogspot.com/201...rmans-pen.html

Quote:
It's time to take a stand against left-wing ideology and the progressives who are hellbent on destroying America. They present themselves to the most vulnerable in our society as their caretakers and protectors when in fact the left/progressives don’t really care about them at all. What is significant to the left/progressives is control of the masses by forcing the masses to accept, without question, the following:
▪ atheism
▪ abortion
▪ gender cross-over
▪ ignorance to facts and history
▪ same-sex marriages
▪ reliance on government
▪ lack of respect for the rule of law
▪ civil disobedience
Observe closely as you watch the pundits in the media. They have a silent signal that they send out to one another. They wear purple. The men wear purple neck ties and the women have increased their purchases of purple garments.
I don't know whether to laugh and/or cry. So, what kind of crazies do you have in your area? This county is right next door to the one I live in and there is a large group of atheists in that county as well as these nutjobs. I wonder if they are wearing purple.

I guess we know all about Old Woman in Purple now.

We'll have to keep an eye or her. I don't think she's doing quite as much forcing of the masses to accept atheism as she should be. At least, here at Secular Cafe.

I think she's slacking.

I don't have any, and I'm probably the furthest left person here.

There are shiploads of different purples in iris. Iris are resplendent with purples.

(buncha outside agitators...)

*$#it! They're on to me!*

Tho, it has certainly taken them long enough. I've been hiding in plain sight, having declared my purpleness in all it's glory at IIDB ~15 years ago!

No 'flash in the pan' am I! :triumphant: *strains of 'We Shall Overcome' playing in the background*

I actually live in the "Iris City", or so it's been nicknamed. Maybe I can wear purple without making myself look too suspicious. I just can't believe that my neighbors to the west are finally on to us.

Now that I think about it, the pansy is often considered a symbol of freethought. And what color are most pansies? The pansy may be what lead them on to us.

Oui...pensee liberte!

aka, 'a buncha pansy libertines!'

You live in the "Iris City", eh? I live in the "Rose City" and I always thought that the center of iris cultivation in the world was just forty miles up the valley in Brooks. This outfit is there. They seem to have an annual claim on a significant portion of my garden budget.

And, the home and headquarters of E.J. Steele, the developer of 'Mammoth' pansies, is 200' east of my location. It is now a guesthouse.

Easily--I've got some red/green color weakness. I don't like most any color that contains a limited amount of red or green. (Lots of red or green is fine, no red or green is fine.)

Wasn't there something about taking the rainbow from the LGBT folks, and giving it back to Noah, several months back? {added- yep, from Ken Ham no less.} Can't be having that- maybe we should just make the purple end of our rainbows wider and brighter!

What makes you think your acceptance/permission is needed? Try minding your own fucking business. If you don't like these things, don't participate. Interesting that you refer to "force", when you are the ones who use it, via legislation.

This is the author of that quote.

Given the utter lack of any evidence of humor in all that, I suppose it isn't a Poe. But it does prove that Poe's Law applies to politics as well as religion, doesn't it?

No sir. These people are serious, or should I say seriously disturbed? I watched a lot of liberal TV pundits yesterday and not one of them was wearing purple. They must not have gotten the message yet.
