Default As Predicted - The Jimmy Carter Gambit

Too late to work, of course, but I knew it was coming: Romney Wants Voters To See Jimmy Carter in Obama

This may explain Clinton joining Obama's campaign as he's essentially the anti-Carter .

Trying to imply

Jimmy Carter's Presidency is a failure
Barack Obama's Presidency is much like Jimmy Carter's
therefore
Barack Obama's Presidency is a similar failure

And--even more laughably--that Romney is Reagan.

Not in the estimation of just about every single Republican to ever wheeze oxygen and, unfortunately, in many Democrats' estimations to this day. In fact, good arguments have been made that without the so called crossover "Reagen Democrats" in '76, '80 and even '84, Reagan could never have become Prez.

Um....Trying to 'smear' Obama with Carter analogies?

For me that'd be more reason to vote for Obama. I believe Jimmy Carter to have been the most honest and moral man to hold that office in recent history. Given what has transpired since, that has been reinforced many times over.

That's irrelevant to whether or not he's political poison.

Speaking of which: Obama Says Same Sex Marriage Should Be Legal.

And we're back to square one.
